Quickstart Guide
Install Auldera, allow the permission prompts, and capture your first meeting.
1. Installation
On a Mac with Apple silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) running macOS 26 or later, download the current disk image from /download and drag Auldera to your Applications folder.
On iPhone, install the companion app from the TestFlight invitation to access synced notes on the go.
2. System Permissions
Auldera processes all audio locally on your device. When first launched, macOS will prompt for the following permissions:
Microphone. Enables Auldera to record your voice during calls.
System Audio. Enables Auldera to record remote participants via macOS ScreenCaptureKit without injecting bots into your meeting.
Calendar. Connects your Apple Calendar or Google Calendar so Auldera can match your recordings to what was on your calendar. Calendar integration does not detect a live call.
Accessibility. Optional. Allows Auldera to automatically extract speaker names in Zoom meetings.
3. Meeting Platform Compatibility
Auldera works seamlessly across all major conferencing software and live conversations:
Zoom. Auldera will automatically notice a live Zoom meeting and begin recording without manual input.
Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Webex, Slack huddles. Auldera automatically coordinates recording from scheduled calendar events or starts immediately when you press Record.
In-person meetings. Press Record in the menu bar or press ⌘N to transcribe and summarize live room discussions.
4. Support and Feedback
Need help or have feedback? Email support@auldera.com. On the Mac, attach Help › Export Logs…. On iPhone, attach the Diagnostics export. Include your account ID, the build, what you did, and what happened. Do not send recordings, transcripts, passwords, or sign-in tokens.
Release notes for tagged builds are available at /releases.
